The Stonehall committee has received a positive response to the reconfigured course at Moig South for last Sunday’s fixture.

Since its introduction to the point-to-point calendar in 2018 the course had featured a stiff uphill climb over two fences to the winning post.

However, for this season's fixture at the course on the outskirts of Askeaton the winning line was switched to what was previously the back straight, a move that has been given the thumbs up.
