The busy Easter weekend started on a low note for point-to-point fans in the north with the loss of the Loughanmore meeting due to ground conditions.

Fortunately, there was plenty of lively action on Sunday. Denis Murphy and Jamie Codd dominated the important early races at Curraghmore.

The pair landed the four-year-old maiden with Grangeclare Native, a Shantou gelding who is a brother to Line Ball, a useful performer for Christy Roche.
