This Sunday’s Shillelagh & District fixture at Tinahely will mark the beginning of the 2018/19 Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Ladies series and there will be a big opportunity for some new names to be added to the list of winners.

It will feature one of three ladies’ open races to be run during the autumn that will count towards the overall series.

The loss of the Co. Roscommon fixture at Rockfield, which was due to host a round, made it look likely that the second round would be cancelled for a second successive year.
