There was a flood of winners inside two hours on Sunday when trainer Peter Flood saddled two winners at Oldcastle and one in front of a bumper crowd at Quakerstown.

As news of his Oldcastle double came through, Flood saddled Kid Commando to land the Sullivans Hotel, Finnertys Bar and Kerry Co-Op five-year-old geldings’ maiden.

Having previously finished fifth at Monksgrange, Kid Commando took command of the race three from home before returning a comprehensive winner under Luke Murphy, ten lengths ahead of the Derek O'Connor-partnered Jack Thunder.
