Joint-champion pointer Longhouse Music returned to winning ways when landing the mares’ open under reigning western champion Derek O’Connor.

The Sam Curling-trained daughter of Gamut, who had been beaten at Loughanmore a fortnight earlier, was always in cruise-control for O'Connor, who was returning from injury.

The pair assumed command on the run to the final fence to beat last month’s Castletown-Geoghegan winner For Rita by eight lengths.
