Gordon Elliott saddled a four-timer at Punchestown on Saturday but will have been frustrated with the same afternoon’s results from Kirkistown where his stable had to settle for just as many second places.
That included the feature James Murdoch Contracts open in which Hardline, a Grade 1 winner in the 2018 Matchbook Exchange Novice Chase, found January Jets two and a half lengths too good.
