Jack of all trades Declan Queally was the man to follow at this meeting as he not only saddled three winners, he rode one too.

The talented man from Cappagh, County Waterford, began his day to remember with victory in the saddle on the Pat Crowley-trained Walk Away in the Johnnys Restaurant & Takeaway and Grocery Store, Watergrasshill five-year-old and upwards geldings’ maiden.

But it was not before a huge scare at the final fence where Walk Away's five-length lead was almost thrown away when he over-jumped before slithering on landing.
