Last weekend’s programme of point-to-point fixtures was torn apart by stormy weather with three of the four fixtures claimed by waterlogging.

The Island Hunt fixture at Ballycrystal was the only meeting to survive the high winds and heavy rain and avoid a complete washout of the weekend programme.

Full credit has to be given to that committee and their band of volunteers for braving the elements in very tricky conditions to complete the full six-race programme.
