Good racing and strong sales a feature of autumn season
Sunday’s two fixtures brought the autumn point-to-point season to an end. There is a hunter chase at Down Royal on St Stephen’s Day and another at Limerick on December 27 before we swing back into action at Templenacarriga on New Year’s Eve. The first fixture of 2018 takes place at Aghabullogue on January 7.
The autumn series has been a great success, producing very competitive racing in the four-year-old category particularly, a stream of potential talent leading to some major transactions in the sales ring.
The star of the show at last month’s Cheltenham sale was Sean Doyle’s Ballinaboola winner Know The Score.
