A cursory glance across last weekend’s results will have provided a trip down memory lane for many long-term point-to-point followers.
For instance, the five-year-old geldings’ maiden at Lingstown on Sunday was won in battling fashion by the Daniel Murphy-trained James Jet, a Yeats gelding out of Givehertime.

Flash forward 30 minutes and the popular banks race was another thrilling contest. which ultimately went the way of the John Walsh-trained Beneficial mare Loggan Lady, who is out of Loggan Lass.
