Despite stormy weather it was an action-packed weekend. Conditions were testing but thanks to the hard work of the hunt committees all went ahead, with two rescheduled cards on Saturday and three fixtures on Sunday.

Saturday's four-year-old maidens were a triumph for the first crop of Jet Away, a son of Cape Cross who won six races at up to 1m2f for Khalid Abdullah when trained by Sir Henry Cecil and a Group 3 in Australia for David Hayes.
