Festival sale next after magical weekend for Monbeg and Doyle

Sunday was a day to remember for Donnchadh Doyle and the Monbeg Syndicate when they dominated the day’s point-to-point action.

Doyle saddled the opening four winners at Ballyarthur and his successes were not restricted to the Cork venue as his horses also graced the winner’s enclosure at Horse and Jockey and Lingstown.

In total, the Monbeg colours were carried to success in five four-year-old maidens over the weekend, having recorded a one-two at Lismore on Saturday, while their tally for the two days reached nine, including that Ballyarthur four-timer and a treble at Lingstown.
