Evan Dwan had a memorable day after riding his first double, thereby doubling his season’s tally to four.

The Tipperary rider got off the mark in the opening Goffs four-year-old maiden on the Pat Doyle-trained Slip Road.

The son of Shantou passed the post a head in front of Bold Assassin after a protracted battle from the penultimate fence.
