With Envoi Allen and Telmesomethinggirl heading the recent roll of honour for the spring four-year-old maiden at Ballinaboola, the Tattersalls NH-sponsored contest was always likely to be a hot race and it was Doyen For Money who made most to add his name to that illustrious list.

Harley Dunne sent his mount on in the home straight and although Mark The Man attempted to close at the final fence, where he and rider Adam Leahy went their separate ways, it was left to Doyen For Money to return seven lengths clear of the staying-on Ideal Vert.
