Ian Donoghue, who returned to race-riding this season after a ten-year break, enjoyed a day to remember when registering his first career double.

Donoghue’s excellent day started with Screaming Colours for William Durkan in the Gannons City Recovery open for novice riders.

A former track performer, Screaming Colours had also been absent, in his case since May 2018, but was an easy nine-length winner over Venitien De Mai. He will now be aimed at the Lingstown banks race.
