Gale At Sea (80+) was left with the lead at the third-last fence and was travelling better than her two most immediate dangers as she ran out a comfortable winner around a track that is not always the most straight forward for a newcomer.

Annual Invictus (88+) had to be tough as, after leading the field for the opening two and a half miles, he was headed exiting the back straight and had to battle back to record a game victory.
