Jamie Codd, synonymous with the Wicklow venue, having ridden six winners in a single day at the track, was back in the winner’s enclosure after riding a treble.

Codd’s first winner of the afternoon came on the Denis Murphy-trained Corran Cross, a two-length winner of the four-year-old maiden.

The son of Doyen quickened clear in the closing stages to deny the locally trained Junior Rattler, who had led the field to the final fence.
