Ciara and Dennis fail to stop tough point teams from taking to the field

Point-to-point committees have felt the brunt of the recent foul weather, with successive weekends affected by storms.

First it was Storm Ciara that forced the postponement of Oldtown and Cragmore and last weekend it was the turn of Storm Dennis to cause havoc.

With the rescheduling of Oldtown and Cragmore to last Saturday it produced a bumper weekend of racing, but none of the five fixtures which took place fully escaped the impact of the storms.
