Borris House proved again an invaluable resource for the point-to-point community when it survived the sub-zero temperatures brought by the cold snap.

The low temperatures claimed last Sunday’s two other scheduled fixtures at Boulta and Tattersalls.

Not for the first time, however, the Carlow venue overcame inclement weather to continue racing, with Sunday’s meeting reminiscent of the 2017 fixture.
