Eighteen-year-old Andy Burke-Ott from Kanturk had a day to remember when he rode his first winner on his father Alex Ott’s Zela Bella.

The seasonal debutant was always positioned close to the pace in the Knockanglass Stables, Orchardstown Stud & Gain Equine Nutrition five- and six-year-old mares’ maiden, as Blackhorse Lady tried to make all the running.
