As the 2017-18 season draws to a close this weekend most titles look sealed, but the handlers’ crown is poised for a thrilling finale.
With battle lines drawn in a title fight introduced only ten years ago, Colin Bowe is attempting to wear the crown for a fourth successive year.

The Wexford native, who spent time learning his craft with Jim Bolger and Aidan O’Brien, has saddled 31 winners, a strike-rate of 17 per cent.

He has a three-winner lead over arch rival and fellow Wexford trainer Donnchadh Doyle, who shared the title with Bowe in 2015.
