Overthetop (90++) stayed on late to record what at one point had seemed at an unlikely success. Owing to a very slow gallop, the field were tightly grouped and the four-year-old was still trapped behind a wall of horses rounding the home bend before finally finding the gap and powering home. He is likely better than this.

Rookie Trainer (91+) almost got rid of his rider at the second-last, but overcame that to record victory in a race where two smart looking stayers pulled clear.
