Coronet John Gosden

With no rain in Newmarket for over a month, the artificial facilities were in demand on Saturday morning, including the Al Bahathri Polytrack, where many of Gosden's Royal Ascot winners have been prepared in recent weeks. Before a busy double-header involving Newmarket and Ascot, Robert Havlin partnered this York winner over a mile as she preps for the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks on July 7.

Botti's stable has been sponsored by feed merchants Dodson & Horrell for the first time this year and most of his work-riders were sporting their brand new jackets during their exercise on the Cambridge Road Polytrack. Botti was still on cloud nine after his first Royal Ascot win with Aljazzi and is hoping for further female gains with this filly, who shone in her exercise under Gabriele Malune.

Godolphin have relinquished their share in this son of Frankel, who was a one-time 2,000 Guineas hope in his days with David Elsworth. Now back from a wind operation, the keen-going four-year-old is proving a challenge to say the least and followed his own equivalent of Bullet Train over a mile on the watered gallop. If he can be taught to settle he could be very well treated on a mark of 84.

Deadly ForceDavid Lanigan

Lanigan's first two-year-old runner of the year ran a decent fourth at Newmarket on Friday night and this son of Lethal Force would be in the same bracket. Although listed as a bay, the youngster is actually nearly white and was easy to spot blowing out nicely on the Cambridge Road Polytrack. He should be thereabouts on his debut in the 'Newcomers' Maiden Stakes at Windsor on Monday.

Saeed Bin Suroor

If the watered gallop had a loyalty card scheme then Bin Suroor would be entitled to at least one free gallop, such is his love of the facility, and he was in evidence on the nine-furlong strip on Friday morning. This four-year-old ran a career-best fifth in the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic last time and impressed as he builds towards the Group 2 Princess of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket on July 12.
