Paul Nicholls: physically imposing Master Tommytucker an exciting prospect
This time last year he was a raw, gangly, unraced six-year-old too backward to get on the racetrack; 12 months on and Master Tommytucker has grown into an imposing individual who is unbeaten over hurdles and poised to begin a potentially exciting chasing career.
"He's taken an age to come right, and when he won first time out at Exeter in February we took him there only for a day out," said Paul Nicholls.
"From then on he did nothing but improve and when we went back to Exeter a couple of months later he was very impressive.
