'Gosdens are the world's best, they'll get Emily Upjohn rider right' - owner
Emily Upjohn's owner has put his faith in the Gosden team to find another jockey for the beaten Oaks favourite after the stable's split with Frankie Dettori.
Speaking on Monday morning, Jon Shack said a decision on whether Emily Upjohn ran in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks or Qipco-sponsored King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes next month would be left to trainers John and Thady Gosden – as would the decision on who partnered her.
Sent off a 6-4 shot for the Oaks at Epsom, the daughter of Sea The Stars was slowly away under Dettori but made smooth progress to dispute the lead, going down by only a short head to Tuesday.
