Strictly Come Dancing betting odds and Week Three predictions: Peaty could sink

Corrie star Katie McGlynn favourite to be voted off in Movie Week

BBC1, 6.45pm Saturday

Preview

Former Eastenders actress Nina Wadia was the first dancer to get the boot from Strictly Come Dancing last week but picking this week's unlucky contestant looks a tough call given it is Movie Week.

Comedy costumes and cheesy tunes will be out in force and could help mask many dancefloor deficiencies.

Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn survived the dance-off with Wadia but may not be so lucky this time around following the tricky American Smooth to Bodyguard tune, I Have Nothing.

McGlynn is 3-1 jolly to get the boot this week alongside former rugby star Ugo Monye, who must tackle a hip-hop routine to You're Welcome from Disney hit Moana.

Actor Greg Wise takes on the role of 007 for his Paso Doble to the James Bond theme but this moody number may struggle to lift the spirits of the voting public, and he is 7-2 to have his licence to thrill revoked.

Dragons' Den investor Sara Davies wowed the crowd and the judges with her Foxtrot in Week Two and may be safe after a crowd-pleasing Samba. She's 4-1 to be the next celebrity eliminated but then there is a big jump in the betting to 10-1 shot Judi Love.

This week's casualty is likely to come from the top four in the betting but with so many distractions during this themed week it may be best for punters to keep a watching brief until things become more serious.

Those inclined to get involved may fancy a small wager on Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty at a juicy 20-1. He scored just 19 with his Quickstep last week and has been flung into the deep end with the notoriously difficult rumba on Saturday.
