After two straightforwards wins over tier-two opposition England's Rugby World Cup campaign steps up with a clash against Argentina on Saturday and Eddie Jones's men are boosted by the return of prop Mako Vunipola and winger Jack Nowell.

The pair were ruled out of the opening fixtures through injury but make the bench to face the Pumas.

There is just one change to the starting line-up that overcame Tonga on the opening weekend with George Kruis replacing Courtney Lawes in the second row.

England have won their last nine clashes with Argentina and their last defeat was a 24-22 reverse in Salta in the summer of 2009 when they were without their British & Irish Lions contingent. They have beaten Los Pumas in both World Cup meetings between the teams, 24-18 in 1995 and 13-9 in 2011.

Argentina make just one change to their team from their victory over Tonga last time out and are given a 14-point start.

England: E Daly; A Watson, M Tuilagi, O Farrell, J May; G Ford, B Youngs; J Marler, J George, K Sinckler, M Itoje, G Kruis, T Curry, S Underhill, B Vunipola. Replacements: L Cowan-Dickie, M Vunipola, D Cole, C Lawes, L Ludlam, W Heinz, H Slade, J Nowell.
