Patrick Cantlay has been well backed for the US Open in the wake of his Memorial Tournament success on Sunday. The Californian is no bigger than 22-1 to win his first Major at Pebble Beach next week.

Cantlay carded a final-round 64 at Muirfield Village to overtake Martin Kaymer and Adam Scott, sealing a two-shot victory with a par at the final hole. The massively in-form 27-year-old was heavily supported for Memorial glory, shortening to 16-1 third-favourite before the action started in Dublin, Ohio.

Tiger Woods, who closed with a 67 to finish ninth in the Memorial, is 12-1 third-favourite for the US Open. Only Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson are ahead of Woods in the betting for the third Major of the season.

Guido Migliozzi was the 90-1 winner of the Belgian Knockout, the gutsy Italian seeing off Darius van Driel in the final.

Tournament host and ante-post favourite, Thomas Pieters, failed to qualify for the Knockout stages. The Belgian was among 109 players who teed up at Walton Heath on Monday morning, attempting to qualify for the US Open. Dean Burmester was the early frontrunner.

Koepka and Johnson are back in action this week for the Canadian Open on the US Tour, while the GolfSixes Cascais provides the European Tour action, starting Friday.
