Euro 2024 draw: England 10-11 to win group including holders Italy

Analysis of the Euro 2024 betting markets after the draw for the qualifying round on Sunday

England are 10-11 to win their qualifying group for Euro 2024 as they were paired with Italy - the team who beat them on penalties in the final of the last European Championships at Wembley last year.

The pair have also met recently in the Nations League, for which Italy have qualified for the finals, taking place in the summer.

England were relegated from their Nations League group, having lost to Italy 1-0 in Milan last month, which meant they were not seeded for the Euro 2024 draw, but Roberto Mancini's side are 5-4 with bet365 to come out on top of Group C, which also includes Ukraine, North Macedonia and Malta.

The top two teams in each section will go through to the finals in Germany, joining the hosts and three playoff winners to make up a field of 24.

Scotland are already guaranteed a place in the playoffs after winning Nations League Group B1.

They will have the unenviable task of trying to contain Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland in two games against Norway and Group A favourites Spain.

Scotland are 12-1 to win that group, which also features Georgia and Cyprus.

Ireland have been handed a difficult task with world champions France and the improving Netherlands alongside them in Group B.

Stephen Kenny's team are 25-1 to qualify as group winners while France are 4-5 and the Dutch 6-5 to come out on top of a section where Greece and Gibraltar can also be found.

Wales are 7-2 to win Group D where they will face Croatia, Turkey, Armenia and Latvia, and Northern Ireland are 16-1 to win Group H which also contains Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Kazakhstan and San Marino.

Germany are a general 5-1 to win the tournament with France 13-2 and England available at 7-1
