Plastic pitch unlikely to faze classy champions

Celtic face another endurance test on plastic but although the players loathe the surface, they should have far too much for Hamilton.

Brendan Rodgers has hardly made a secret of his views on artificial pitches and they have been backed up by Celtic's defeat at Kilmarnock and draw at Livingston.

Although New Douglas Park's surface was relaid at the start of the season, it's still a poor pitch for top-flight football.

However, the Hoops are in fine, free-scoring form with on-fire Scotland hero James Forrest in their team and should be able to beat Martin Canning's limited side if the match was played on the moon, although Hamilton do usually manage to score at home.

Recommendation
Celtic to win and both teams to score
