Hamza Choudhury's red card was the turning point in England Under-21s' 2-1 loss to France on Tuesday but the young Lions can respond with a victory over Croatia. Both sides need the points and a second successive defeat is on the cards for Croatia, who lost 4-1 to Romania on Tuesday.
Ecuador or draw double chance against Chile Midnight
Chile started their Copa America campaign with a thumping 4-0 victory over an inexperienced Japan team but they face a tricky test against Ecuador in Salvador. Ecuador had defender Jose Quintero sent off in the 23rd minute of their 4-0 loss to Uruguay but they should be more competitive if they play with greater discipline.
Honduras to beat Curacao 2.30am Saturday
Honduras have ground to make up after losing 3-2 to Jamaica in their Concacaf Cup opener but they can put their first points on the board with a victory over Curacao in Houston. Curacao failed to make much of an impression in a 1-0 loss to El Salvador and their second match looks more difficult.
