David Goffin has already reached two ATP Tour finals this season but his Miami Open challenge could end in an upset against improving Argentinian Diego Schwartzman.

Schwartzman impressed in his opening two matches when he dispatched big-serving Russian Karen Khachanov and then accounted for David Ferrer in straight sets.

The 24-year-old, who is already a winner on the tour, made the final of the European Open in Antwerp last season on an indoor hard court - including when registering a victory over Goffin in the semi-finals.

Goffin is an established top-20 player but the Belgian has never quite made the leap to the elite of men's tennis and is occasionally vulnerable against improving opponents.

While he is the right favourite, taking short odds about Goffin is ill advised and 188Bet's standout 17-5 about Schwartzman looks a shade overpriced.

Roger Federer takes on Juan Martin del Potro in the match of the day but punters should be wary of taking short prices about the Swiss maestro against an opponent who has won three of their last five meetings.

In the women's event, world number four Dominika Cibulkova should be supported against Lucie Safarova.

The diminutive Slovakian has a 5-2 winning record over Safarova and barely had to work in her first two matches against Veronica Cepede Roy and Kirsten Flipkens.

Safarova's progress has been similarly serene but she is not as consistent as Cibulkova and can be opposed.
