Andy Murray and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga thrilled the Centre Court crowd with tennis of the highest calibre on Wednesday evening but the Scot may find Czech Tomas Berdych easier to defeat than the mercurial Frenchman.

For the opening two sets of his quarter-final, Murray looked in control. He won the first after a lengthy tiebreak before dominating the second 6-1.

But Tsonga, ever the showman, staged an amazing fightback to take the match into a deciding set.
