Bethanie Mattek-Sands is due to contest her first WTA Tour quarter-final clash in more than a year on Friday and bookmakers reckon she could trouble her Hong Kong Open opponent Kristina Mladenovic.
But punters could be getting the chance to back Mladenovic at inflated odds after Mattek-Sands’ 4-6 6-2 6-4 victory over the Frenchwoman’s compatriot and friend Caroline Garcia on Thursday.
