Donaldson could trouble Kyrgios
Jared Donaldson made the last 16 in the Rogers Cup in Toronto last week and the 19-year-old American carried over his form south of the border when winning his Atlanta Open first-round match against big-serving Sam Groth on Monday.
Donaldson faces Nick Kyrgios today and while it is unlikely that he will justify odds of 4-1 and see off the world number 18, he looks worthy of support on the handicap with a start of 4.5 games.
His run in Toronto featured wins over John Millman and Fabio Fognini before Milos Raonic proved too strong and Donaldson should pose problems for Krygios.
