Fritz fits the bill in US capital

Taylor Fritz made a positive start to his Citi Open title tilt on Monday and the American may be good enough to continue in winning vein against Alexander Zverev in Washington DC.
Zverev, 19, is a hugely promising performer on all surfaces but Fritz, who is only six months younger than the German seventh seed, is essentially a hard-court specialist at this early stage of his career.
Punters can definitely consider backing Fritz to add to his 6-4 6-3 first-round victory over Dudi Sela, but the 4-6 that the Californian wins at least a set looks worth having given that it could be a closely-fought affair.
