Betting preview

Houston are just one win away from completing an impressive comeback after recovering from a 2-0 deficit to lead the World Series 3-2.

The Astros shrugged off the pressure of losing their first two home games by winning all three matches in Washington comfortably, by a combined score of 19-3.

Houston, 1-7 to regain the Fall Classic, need one win from the concluding two games in front of their own fans.

The Nationals should not be completely without hope though. Stephen Strasbourg takes to the mound in Game Six and he has been fantastic in the post-season with an earned-run average of 1.93.

Houston counter with Justin Verlander, who had a rough outing against Strasbourg and the Nationals in game two, giving up six runs.

He's still a class act, however, and it would be no surprise to see him return to his usual excellent form. Despite the fact that neither team have won at home in this series, Houston's offence is firing and it could well be all over in Game Six.
