Midfield, not fluent 3rd, close up from 4th until pushed along and weakened before 2 out (enq held into running and riding of the filly which raced in a prominent position throughout, before appearing to be tenderly handled in the home straight to finish sixth of eight, beaten 12 1/4 lengths. Jockey stated his instructions were to jump off handy and ride the race from there and then after travelling well for the first half of the race, the filly was outpaced from after the fourth last hurdle and had failed to respond to his urgings for some distance approaching and rounding the home turn. The filly then felt tired in the home straight so he held the filly together under a hands and heels ride to finish the race) (op 11/1)
