Dwelt, raced wide and badly outpaced, soon tailed off, plugged on near finish (jockey said, regarding the running and riding that stated that he had received no specific instructions from the trainer. He said that the filly jumped out awkwardly, was flat out in the early stages and went wide to avoid the bad kickback. He added that he did not ask for an effort until the home straight because he did not want to get the filly disorganised. He then rode the filly hands and heels to the line. Trainer said that the filly had been disappointing in her previous runs and he therefore did not wish to tie the jockey down with specific orders.
