Always mid-division, no impression 2 out (jockey said, regarding the running and riding, that his instructions were to settle his mount in mid-division and to do the best he could. He said his mount jumped well but became outpaced down the back straight before meeting with slight interference rounding the home bend. He added that his mount made a bad respiratory noise in the home straight, which in his opinion affected the preformance of the horse today. He stated that he was unaware that he had to report this to anyone following the race. He eased his mount as a result of making this noise. The trainer confirmed that the instructions given and added that he felt B. Hayes could have made more effort. He outlined the wind problems that his charge has had in the past, and also the fact that he has had two operations prior to his first run on a racecourse for this problem. He further added that he was unaware that his charge had made a respiratory noise in running but was not surprised by this)
