b g Presenting - Briery Ann (Anshan)
Hung badly left start, tailed off when consented to jump off, pulled up after 4th (jockey said regarding running and riding that his instructions were to get a good position at the start and give him plenty of daylight as the gelding had been off for approximately two and a half years. He added that the gelding had cocked his jaw and ran out to the left towards the stables and he was unable to control the gelding as the bit had slipped through his mouth. He went on to say that although he was detached from the remainder of the field he felt, due to the slow pace, that it was still possible to rejoin the other runners. However, after jumping four fences he realised that all chance had gone and therefore pulled up. the trainer comfirmed those instructions.) (tchd 20/1)
