He added that, having missed the first hurdle, the gelding jumped deliberately down the back straight and was never truly travelling thereafter, which he had reported at the scales; the trainer confirmed the instructions and added that the yard was performing inconsistently at present; also he might yet consider the application of headgear ) (op 9-2 tchd 7-2)
