Saturday

There is top-class action at the Curragh as the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes (4.15) takes centre stage.

As the week goes on, we'll have a clearer idea as to who will line-up in the contest, but Prix Robert Papin winner Blackbeard, Coventry scorer Bradsell and the in-form Little Big Bear are just some of the early entries. The Group 3 Phoenix Sprint (2.40) also features on the card.

Ascot hosts the annual Shergar Cup which will feature a variety of British, Irish and international jockeys competing in eight highly-competitive races, while Newmarket's afternoon action is headlined by the Group 3 Sweet Solera Stakes (3.40).

Racing also comes from Redcar, while Haydock hosts seven races, including the Group 3 Rose of Lancaster Stakes (3.00). The Listed Dick Hern Stakes (3.35) is also on the same card.
