'We've always liked her' - Doyle excited at first ride in an Epsom Classic
Hollie Doyle is full of hope as she looks forward to breaking new ground with her first ride in an Epsom Classic on Sherbet Lemon in the Cazoo Oaks.
The record-breaking 24-year-old jockey was impressed with the way Sherbet Lemon won the Oaks Trial at Lingfield and believes she has a live each-way chance next Friday at Epsom against Aidan O'Brien's market leaders Santa Barbara and Snowfall.
Doyle missed the Lingfield ride due to her retainer with Imad Al Sagar, with Paul Mulrennan on board for the Listed trial success, and is itching to renew the partnership with the filly, on whom she won at Newcastle for Archie Watson in February.
