Two Gold Cup players? Tizzard adamant Lostintranslation can continue yard upturn

The Tizzards are confident the stable have "turned the corner" and believe Lostintranslation can follow the example set by Native River by stamping his name into the Cheltenham Gold Cup reckoning.

Although the prospects of the Betfair Denman Chase taking place at Newbury are uncertain with the course inspecting on Friday due to major frost concerns, Lostintranslation is set to complete his Gold Cup preparation in either a rescheduled Denman or the Ascot Chase on February 20.

And following the gutsy victory of Native River in last weekend's rearranged Cotswold Chase, confidence is again high in the Tizzard camp following a dismal run of 44 days without a winner, broken by Rose Of Arcadia last week before the 2018 Gold Cup winner rolled back the years with his Sandown success.
