Supersta makes perfect Fibresand debut for Appleby

Supersta had spent 18 months in the care of Mick Appleby before making his Fibresand debut in the feature 7f handicap, but after an emphatic success he looks sure to make up for lost time.
"We didn't know if he'd take to it but it looks like he did!" said Chris Dixon, RUK pundit and member of the Rod In Pickle Partnership, which also includes among others brother Martin and ITV commentator Richard Hoiles.
"He just wasn't getting the races run to suit on Polytrack," explained Dixon. "He doesn't necessarily have the running style for here, but his pedigree suggested he'd take to it and this was a valuable race, so we thought we'd try him out."
