Red-hot Murphy and in-form Cowell - key stats to help your Tuesday punting
There are three meetings on Tuesday at Clonmel, Kempton and Southwell. Here are statistics from each track which could help your punting . . .
Clonmel
Colm Murphy has been successful with two of his last three runners, including Impervious in the Grade 3 novice chase at Punchestown on Sunday, and has two declared at Clonmel on Tuesday.
Danada makes his debut in the 2m½f maiden hurdle (1.20), while Tangental returns from a 404-day off in the 2m4f handicap hurdle (2.50).
The seven-year-old makes his first start for Murphy and was a winner at this trip at Fairyhouse in March 2021 when trained by Michael Butler.
Kempton
Robert Cowell has started the year in fine form on the all-weather with three winners from his last five runners, including one at 40-1.
The Newmarket trainer sends Autumn Flight to Kempton for the 5f handicap (12.40), where the seven-year-old will be partnered by Stefano Cherchi.
Although the son of Dandy Man has finished no nearer than fourth in seven starts since September, he is now 22lb below his last winning mark.
Southwell
Oisin Orr is operating at a 33 per cent strike-rate (3-9) in the last two weeks and has two rides for Richard Fahey at Southwell.
He partners Gannon Glory in the 5f handicap (5.00) and Ri Na Farraige (8.00). Both have decent chances.
Orr and Fahey have a 38 per cent strike-rate (3-8) when teaming up together this year for a £1 level-stakes profit of £12.
