March 2016, Neptune Novices' Hurdle, Cheltenham Festival

Unbeaten in two bumpers and two novice hurdles, including the Grade 1 Tolworth Novices' Hurdle at Sandown, Yorkhill lined up at Cheltenham as 3-1 second favourite to Yanworth.

Despite a far-from-smooth passage and a tendency to overrace, Yorkhill snuck up the inside rail on the home turn and surged clear under Ruby Walsh to score in decisive fashion and confirm himself as a horse with a big future.

November 2020, Rehearsal Chase, Newcastle

Written off and with recent form figures of FPP, Yorkhill was sent off a 66-1 shot at Newcastle, but he would show everyone one last time what he was capable of.

After taking up the running at the fourth fence under Ryan Mania, Yorkhill jumped immaculately and enthusiastically to see off a string of challengers to record a memorable victory on what proved to be his final start.
