Roscommon abandoned after heavy rain leaves course unfit for racing

This evening's meeting at Roscommon has been called off after heavy rain left parts of the course unfit for racing.

The going had been described as soft on Sunday, but was changed to heavy on Monday morning following 12mm of rain overnight.

A further 4mm fell after 9am, and with more rain forecast the decision was taken to cancel the meeting.
