All you need to know as Punchestown feature cuts up after Meade withdrawals
There is plenty of quality on show on both sides of the Irish Sea, with five courses staging racing. However, the feature race at Punchestown, the Grade 3 Irish Daily Star Chase (4.10), has cut up after Noel Meade pulled out Road To Respect and Snow Falcon, the pair at the head of the market, due to conditions being on the fast side.
In the Buck House Novice Chase (3.40), the other Grade 3 on the card, Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins are represented by a likely sort in Cadmium.

Jumps action returns to Wetherby but, while there is plenty of quality on display, field sizes are disappointingly small, with only one race attracting eight runners.
Nottingham and Bath provide the afternoon's Flat action, with the latter course hosting the £40,000 Listed British Stallion Studs EBF Beckford Stakes (2.55). In the evening Newcastle stages an eight-race all-weather meeting.
